Microscopy Characteristics

Ban Hua Thannon spores are ellipsoid, dark purplish-brown, medium-sized, measuring approximately 8–10 x 5.5–6.5 micrometres. The cell wall is moderately thick with a visible germ pore under 400x magnification. Spore output is moderate.
