These terms apply to all purchases from sporesworldwide.com, operated by Spores Worldwide, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (“we”, “us”). By placing an order you agree to them.
1. Microscopy research use only
All products are sold solely for microscopy, taxonomy and identification research. They are not sold for cultivation, consumption, or any use that is unlawful where you live. We don’t provide cultivation advice, and we may cancel any order if we believe it is intended for any other purpose.
2. Age requirement
You must be 18 or older to purchase. By ordering you confirm that you are.
3. Your responsibility to follow local laws
Laws on mushroom spores differ between countries, states and provinces. You are responsible for confirming that our products may be legally purchased, imported and possessed where you live, and for complying with those laws. We don’t give legal advice, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
4. Shipping restrictions
We don’t ship to Egypt or Turkey. We may refuse or cancel orders to any destination where we believe delivery would be unlawful. Items seized or refused by customs are the buyer’s responsibility, and refunds aren’t issued for them. Full details: Shipping.
5. Orders, pricing and payment
Prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (currently Interac E-Transfer, for customers located in Canada or with a Wise payment account, and BTC or ETH). Orders are processed after payment is received. We may correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders with a full refund of any payment received.
6. Returns and replacements
Products are non-returnable due to their biological nature. Problems reported within 14 days of delivery qualify for a replacement or store credit, as set out in Returns & Refunds.
7. Product information
We describe products as accurately as we can. Strain names, descriptions and images are for identification and research reference.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) products are provided for research use as described, without any other warranty; (b) we’re not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from use of a product contrary to these terms or to applicable law; and (c) our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
